Got an event booked? Join a group striving towards similar goals and train together with purpose. Our group endurance coaching brings athletes targeting similar events and timelines into one focused group. We will programme, combining a structured plan with shared accountability and support each other towards our event.
You’ll follow a progressive, coach-led plan, get regular check-ins and guidance, and be part of a community that understands the demands of balancing training with real life. Turn your next race build-up into something more motivating, more social, and a lot more fun.
Monthly training programme
The group follows the same 12-week plan delivered through Training Peaks, with every session clearly explained (objective, duration, purpose) and easy to view on your phone or laptop.
Coach feedback on key sessions
For all key workouts (intervals, high intensity efforts and your event), you upload your session and receive brief, focused feedback from the coach on pacing, execution, and what to tweak for next time.
Supportive online community
A private group space for questions, mini wins, wobbles, and PB celebrations, so you always feel supported through the full 12 weeks.
Weekly coaching briefings
At the start of each week you receive a short video overview from the coach explaining the focus, how hard key sessions should feel, and how to adapt if life or fatigue gets in the way.
Group accountability and check-ins
Members share quick updates after key sessions and Saturday parkruns, building a sense of training together and keeping each other consistent.
Group Webinars
4 live Zoom sessions where the coach walks through upcoming training blocks, explains key concepts (pacing, warm-ups, race strategy, recovery), and answers your questions in real time, with recordings available if you cannot attend live.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Endurance group coaching is a structured programme in which our groups follow a coordinated training plan, with guidance, feedback, and education from our coaching team. It combines professional coaching with the motivation and accountability of training alongside others.
This programme is for endurance athletes who want structure and support and a community of like minded athletes. It suits people who can already complete introductory sessions and want to improve performance and consistency alongside greater enjoyment.
No. The group is organised by training “levels”, not by speed. Sessions are prescribed using effort, heart rate or power so athletes of different paces can follow the same plan productively. You only need a basic level of fitness and a commitment to train regularly.
You get a structured training plan, regular group sessions (online and/or in person), access to a coach for questions, and a private group space for support. Depending on the package, this may also include training reviews, live Q&A calls, and resources on pacing, nutrition and race preparation.
1:1 coaching is fully customised for one athlete and typically includes more frequent, detailed feedback. Group coaching provides a structured, evidence-based plan with key feedback points, but within a shared framework. It is more cost-effective and adds the group’s motivation and accountability.
The overall structure is shared, but you will be guided on how to adjust the duration, intensity, and weekly volume to fit your fitness level, goals, and available time. Athletes are usually grouped by ability and/or training hours, so the plan feels appropriately challenging.
The plan is designed to be flexible. You will know which sessions are “key” for the week and which are optional, so you can move sessions around your diary when life gets busy while still keeping the essential building blocks in place.
Missing the occasional session is normal. Life gets in the way sometimes! You will receive guidance on whether to let it go, reschedule it, or make slight adjustments in the next few days so you do not overload yourself. The focus is on long-term consistency, not perfection.
Weekly commitments vary group to group but key sessions are clearly marked with optional sessions planned. Some sections can be extended should time allow!
At a minimum, you need a watch or device that can track time and distance. A heart rate monitor and/or power meter (for cycling) is helpful but not mandatory. You will also need access to email and/or the training app we use to deliver the plan.
Yes. We love to participate in events! The programme is designed with typical racing seasons in mind. You will get guidance on tapering into key events, handling tune-up races, and recovering afterwards while rejoining the group plan.
After signing up, you complete a short questionnaire on your goals, training history and weekly availability. You will then be placed in the most suitable group level, given access to the training platform and community, and receive clear instructions for your first week.
The preparation I received for my Ironman 70.3 was a game-changer for me. It was structured enough to keep me accountable, but still flexible around work, social life, and days when I’m just a bit tired. I saw a big difference in my endurance and confidence, especially with the longer bike–run sessions that used to feel really intimidating. What I’ve loved most is that it never felt like a random plan pulled off the internet. Each week had a clear purpose, and I always understood why I was doing a session, not just ticking a box. I felt properly prepared for race day, physically and mentally. I enjoyed the event itself and the process that got me there. Now I am looking ahead to a marathon next year.Iona - Triathlete
I’ve worked with Ian for the last few months while juggling a demanding work schedule, and the results have been outstanding. He creates the perfect blend of structure, progression, and flexibility to help me improve my fitness despite limited time. His expertise, especially his understanding of the realities of a high-readiness military environment, truly sets him apart.Wade - Cyclist, Soldier
Training with Ian for the Ealing Half Marathon has been genuinely enjoyable. Every session felt purposeful, well-planned, and tailored to what I needed that week. His guidance helped me build confidence, stay consistent, and actually look forward to the work. I arrived on race day prepared, relaxed, and grateful for a coach who made the process as rewarding as the event itself.Niki - Runner
I’ve been working with Ian for just three months, and the progress I’ve seen in my cycling performance has been incredible. My FTP and anaerobic fitness have improved significantly, and I’m already noticing the gains in my overall performance. Ian has a fantastic way of breaking down the numbers, helping me understand metrics like TSS, and showing me that it’s not about pushing myself into the ground but training smarter, not harder. His approach has completely changed the way I view my training. With the goal of becoming a contender in my age group for the Grand Fondo events in Miami and Germany, Ian’s coaching has given me the confidence and tools to believe this is achievable. I’m truly starting to see the results, and I couldn’t recommend Ian’s coaching enough! Thank you, Ian, for your expertise and guidance! Bill - Cyclist
